Why This Site Exists
A released person may no longer appear on a current jail roster, and Dallas County, Alabama does not publish an official online recent-release feed in the sources used for this build. That makes the record path harder to follow. County jail records, Dallas County court records, Alabama Department of Corrections search results, Alabama Bureau of Pardons and Paroles supervision information, Alabama VNS, and VINELink can all answer different parts of the same release question.
This site organizes those release paths in one place. It is meant to help visitors tell the difference between a county jail release, a transfer to ADOC, a state-prison discharge, a supervision status, and a notification record. It does not replace the office that created the record.

Dallas County Released Inmates is privately operated. It is not affiliated with the Dallas County Sheriff's Department, Dallas County Jail, Alabama Department of Corrections, Alabama Bureau of Pardons and Paroles, any court, or any other government office.
- We cannot release, hold, transfer, or locate anyone in custody.
- We cannot confirm a current custody status or final release status.
- We cannot post bond, schedule visits, send funds, or obtain records for a visitor.
- We cannot provide legal advice or decide whether a record should be sealed, corrected, or expunged.
Official custody, release, charge, bond, court, and supervision information must come from the agency or court that controls the record.
